Tucson Holy Hour at the Benedictine Monastery, 800 N. Country Club Road, following the 5:00 p.m. Mass.

Tucson Rosary Celebrationat the Cathedral of Saint Augustine from 10:00 a.m. to 12:15 p.m., followed by a reception in the Cathedral Placita. The Arizona Rosary Celebration begins at 10:00 a.m. with the Bishop's Procession, followed by the Blessing Procession. At the conclusion of the blessing procession Most Rev. Gerald F. Kicanas, Bishop of Tucson will address those in attendance. Bishop Kicanas will be followed by Guest Speaker Rev. John Phalen, CSC. The speakers are followed by the Recitation of the Holy Rosary. Following, the Rosary, is the Procession of the Blessed Sacrement. This will lead into Adoration and Benediction. The Arizona Rosary Celebration ends at 12:15 p.m. after Benediction.
The celebration will include the Bishop's Procession, led by the Knights of Columbus Fourth Degree Honor Guard, the Columbian Squires escorting the Silver Rose, Altar Servers from parishes in the Diocese [Download an Altar Server Registration form], and representatives from every Catholic group, organization, and parish. In Tucson, the choir of St. Augustine Cathedral will provide Music for the local celebration.
Phoenix Pilgramage Mass at the Cathedral of Ss. Simon and Jude at 4:30 p.m., followed by a Holy Hour of Prayer. The Mass and Holy Hour will be immediately followed by the Rosary Sunday Dinner and the words of the Guest Speaker, Rev. John Phalen, CSC. Download a Dinner Registration Form.

Phoenix Parade of the Missionary Image of Our Lady of Guadalupe
The Missionary Image of Our Lady of Guadalupe will be escorted by Matachines dancers and Hispanic Community. The parade leaves Immaculate Heart Church, 10th Street and Washington, at 12:15 p.m. and arrives at Convention Center at 12:30 p.m. Dancers will venerate the Image of Our Lady in the Hall until 1:00 p.m. Young Matachines Dancers are invited to a gathering at the Diocesan Pastoral Center at 12:00 Noon to meet with the Most Rev. Eduardo Nevares, Auxillary Bishop of Phoenix and Rev. Paul Sullivan, Vocations Director of the Phoenix Diocese. A Pizza Lunch with be served.
Phoenix Columbian Squire Silver Rose Young Catholics Rally and Parade
A youth parade, sponored by the Knights of Columbus Columbian Squires, will start at St. Mary's High School at 11:30 a.m. and process to the Diocesan Pastoral Center where they will have lunch, prayers, and inspirational talks by the Most Rev. Eduardo Nevares, Auxillary Bishop of Phoenix and Rev. Paul Sullivan, Vocations Director of the Phoenix Diocese. The Columbian Squires and the Silver Rose will leave with Diocesan Altar Servers and Young Matachines at about 12:30 p.m. The Silver Rose will proceed to the Convention Center, arriving approximately 1:00 p.m. They Squires and Silver Rose will join the Blessing Procession after venerating the Image of Our Lady of Guadalupe.
Diocesan Altar Servers
Altar Server participation is a highlight of Arizona Rosary Celebration and has been recognized in national publications. Young Altar Servers from each parish are invited to participate in the entrance procession of the Bishop and dignitaries. Servers will have a chance to meet the local Bishop and our main speaker. Those servers participating will receive a holy medal blessed by Pope Benedict XVI. Altar Servers are required to bring whatever attire they normally use in their parish for serving. Arizona Rosary Celebration is unable to supply attire for everyone. Download an Altar Server Registration Form.
In Phoenix, Altar Servers need to be dropped off at the Diocesan Pastoral Center by 12:00 Noon for a Pizza Party with the Most Rev. Eduardo Nevares, Auxillary Bishop of Phoenix and Rev. Paul Sullivan, Vocations Director of the Phoenix Diocese. After the Celebration, parents will pick up their children at the Diocesan Pastoral Center.
Pre-event Concert
In Phoenix, a concert will begin at 1:30 p.m. and end just before 2:00 p.m. This year, we are pleased to have Gabriel Martinez, renouned singer and Music Director for St. James Parish in Phoenix, will direct a Phoenix Diocesan Choir.
Arizona Rosary Celebration Main Event
In Phoenix, the Arizona Rosary Celebration begins at 2:00 p.m. with the Bishop's Procession, followed by the Blessing Procession [Blessing Procession Registration Form]that includes families representing each parish family [Parish Family Registration Form] as well as representitives of the many organizations and colorful ethnic goups comprising the Diocesan family. At the conclusion of the blessing procession Most Rev. Thomas J. Olmsted, Bishop of Phoenix will address those in attendance. Bishop Olmsted will be followed by Guest Speaker Rev. John Phalen, CSC. The speakers are followed by the Recitation of the Holy Rosary. Following, the Rosary, is the Procession of the Blessed Sacrement. This will lead into Adoration and Benediction. Poster Contest
Once again we are pleased to invite all Catholic students grades K-8 to participate in the Arizona Rosary Celebration Poster Contest. The posters will be based on the theme "Our Lady of Guadalupe and my Family". Participating students can be home schooled, attend CCD or attend Catholic School.
